In the tool, you can check the overall volume of the keywords which tells how many people in the world have used the same keyword.

The tool which I have used on my Google Chrome Extension is (Keywords Everywhere – Keyword Tool).
Each and every keyword has a certain search volume per month (according to Google Keyword Planner). The volume for the word “Keyword” is 450000 per month that doesn’t mean that you will get as many clicks on your website.

Choosing your keywords based on CPC can help you from saving your money. If you’re new to CPC, basically when someone clicks on your ad, you need to pay. If the CPC is set high and if there is no conversion your ad is a waste.
